3D LCD TV

Taiwan Leads in the Production of 3D LCD TV

At present, many people are looking forward to the 3D experience when they watch their favorite movies on the big screen. For instance, the most common cinema they go to, ones that have 3D features, is IMAX. In IMAX, the members of the audience needed to wear a pair of 3D glasses in order to actually see and experience the movie come to life. However, thanks to the genius minds behind the technological innovations of today’s biggest technological brands, the public no longer has to wear those unattractive soda glasses.

No Need for 3D Glasses

In fact, experts say that in only several years, Taiwanese companies will finally be releasing some technological products in the market, ones that involve LCD TVs that have the world’s latest 3D viewing technology. It is through such technology that the audience no longer needs to procure the oversized special glasses usually worn in 3D movie theaters.

According to the Deputy Director General belonging to the Electronics and Optoelectronics Research Laboratories that can be found in Taiwan, the 3D technology itself is ready. They are merely waiting for the final product to be granted the all thumbs up sign for release to the entire world to benefit from and get highly entertained with.

The television sets Taiwan has come up with are as large as fifty-six inches. However, the technology is still getting polished in their laboratories before deciding to have it sold for public TV viewing. The public definitely awaits this product in excitement.

Less Vibrant Colors

The only thing that some people might not find so attractive is that the colors that are displayed on the 3D LCD TVs are usually not as vibrant as they normally are with regards to standard LCD TVs. Still, this is such a small con among a long list of pros.

Although a lot of today’s people would rather experience the 3D feeling without having to wear those oversized glasses, the company still understands and predicts that there might still be some individuals out there who actually like wearing the specially polarized glasses for 3D viewing. This is why they came up with computer monitors and even some mobile phone screens that the public can easily avail in the market anytime soon.

Many are starting to lose patience and are wondering what is taking Taiwan so long. According to the Chairman of the company, a huge part of the delay can be blamed on the effects and the related consequences of the global downturn. When the recession hit different economies, the production of the TVs slowed as well. They are merely figuring out how the global demand shapes up before they start committing themselves to more and more resources with regards to the new technology.

Furthermore, the research group responsible for these 3D LCD TVs actually plan to host a conference in the following weeks specifically in Taipei in order to promote this three-dimensional technology. Surely, this particular conference will be swarmed by the world’s content and software makers that come from around the entire world.
